James LeMaster Obituary

 

James Victor "Jim" LeMaster, age 81, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. He was born November 15, 1943, in Magoffin County, Kentucky the son of the late Hager and Rouie Marie (Mann) LeMaster. James had proudly served his Country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era and had loved to travel. He was a devout Catholic who had graduated from Blanchester High School in 1962 and loved his family very much. Jim is survived by his siblings, Orville (Edith) LeMaster of Stoutsville, and Laura (Paul) Summers of Wilmington; niece, Jodi (Roger) Howard of Jamestown; nephews, Jeff (Heather) Summers of Maineville, Mike Combs of Circleville, Paul Edward (Sheryl) Combs of Franklin, Tennessee, Gary (Jenny) Combs of Circleville, Johnny LeMaster and Tommy LeMaster, both of London, Kentucky; nieces, Vicki Kolodzieski of Dayton, Kitty (Greg) Brookover of Lebanon, Michelle LeMaster of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, Meriam Trivets and Tamar Harash, both of Israel; also surviving are several cousins, great and great-great nieces and nephews including special niece, Elizabeth Howard. In addition to his parents, Jim is preceded in death by his siblings, Clara LeMaster Combs and John Charles LeMaster. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Holy Name Chapel, 740 S. SR 133, Blanchester, Ohio. Father Thomas M. Mannebach will be the Celebrant. Burial will immediately follow in Westboro Cemetery with Military Honors being accorded by the Blanchester American Legion Post #179 Honor Guard.
