James Rodney "Jimmy" Snell

James Rodney "Jimmy" Snell, age 67, of Wilmington, passed away February 17, 2025, at Clinton Memorial Hospital, Wilmington. He was born November 11, 1957, in Wilmington the son of the late Robert E. and Juanita (Sanderson) Snell, Sr. and he had served in the National Guard. Born and raised in Wilmington, Jimmy had owned and operated Snell Auto Detailing for many years. He had loved to be outdoors, hunting and fishing. Left to remember Jimmy are his loving wife, Yulonda Snell (Egner) of Wilmington; three sons, Robby Snell of Wilmington, Johnny (Holly) Brewer of Carey, Ohio and Joshua Snell of Xenia; daughter, Amanda Brewer of Wilmington; grandchildren, Aleiah, Austin, Allyssa, Chandler, Jayceea, Jhase, Josh, Diavian and Jason; great-grandchildren, Aliki and Natalie; special grandson, Jacob Jones; sisters, Carolyn Wallace and Peggy Snell, both of Wilmington. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Wendy Brewer; great-granddaughter, Ariella Davis; and three brothers, Eddie Snell, Wesley Snell and Robert Snell, Jr. A Celebration of Life service will be held 6:00 p.m. Friday, February 28, 2025, at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until service begins at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place privately at the convenience of the family.
