James Roger “Jimmy” Wren, age 75, of Wilmington, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington. He was born February 27, 1949, in Sandgap, Kentucky, the son of the late James and Theo (Standafer) Wren. Jimmy was a member of the Farmersville Lodge #482 Free and Accepted Masons of Ohio; and Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, Ohio. He is survived by two daughters, Jami (Michael) O’Brien of Wooster, Ohio and Diana “Jill” (Ray) Neverovich of Villa Hills, Kentucky; grandchildren, Adam (Samantha) O’Brien pf Powell, Ohio and Evan O’Brien of Cleveland, Ohio; siblings, Judy (Roy) Turner of Lebanon, Ohio, Jeff (Cathy) Wren of Springboro, Ohio, and Diane (Jim) Hummer of Centerville, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. In addition to his parents, Jimmy is preceded in death by his wife Sue E. (Thompsom) Wren on March 30, 2018. All services and burial in Hillsboro Cemetery will take place privately at the convenience of the family. Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington, is assisting the family.
