James E. “Jimmy” Frank, age 63, of Wilmington, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at the Clinton Memorial Hospital. Jimmy was born October 9, 1956 in Chillicothe, Ohio the son of Donald and Mary Catherine (Taylor) Frank. He enjoyed fishing and grilling out. He was a football fan, and especially an L.S.U. Tiger football fan. Jimmy drove for Sewell Trucking for more than 23 years, and was enjoying his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Lisa M. (Gevedon) Davis Frank; mother Mary Catherine Dodds of Mowrystown; children, Jamie (Nikki) Frank of Wilmington, Brandy (Doug) Hamilton of New Carlisle, Maegan Lewis of New Carlisle, Karen (Frankie) Watters of Clarksville, Angela (Clarence) Baker of Oklahoma, Theresa (Charlie) Shoemaker of Wilmington, Scherie Brush of Peebles, Tonya Renner of Wilmington, Shawn (Mandy) Vanscoy of Sabina, and Joe Baumgardner of Wilmington; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; close friends, Kenny Taylor, Craig Gevedon, and Barry Earley; and his four legged friend, “Little Bear Bear”. Jimmy is preceded in death by his father Donald Frank; three brothers, John, Timmy, and Dennis Frank; and his dog friends, “Little Lukie” and “Puppy” who was his trucking companion. Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family. Following services, all are invited to Wilmington V.F.W. Post 6710, 1130 N. Lincoln Street, Wilmington, Ohio 45177, for a meal and reception in honor of Jimmy.
