Janine Colette Wilson-Cody

Janine Colette Wilson-Cody was born on November 27, 1972 to Emma Mae Smith and the late Charles Wilson. Janine departed this life on July 12, 2023. Janine was married to Oliver Cody for 17 years and together for 32 years.

All who knew Janine, knew her to be fun-loving, full of life and laughs. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Janine loved being outside even if it was cold. She loved to sit outside on a summer night or summer rain. She loved going to the beach, crocheting blankets, baking cakes and cupcakes, having barbeques or just cooking for her family. She enjoyed doing DIY projects, power tools, big ram trucks, playing games on the computer or phone. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She was employed at Manufactures Reserve Supply in Irvington, NJ. She was there for 5 years.

Janine is survived by her husband Oliver Cody of Wilmington, her daughters Denise, Arlene, Kassandra, Patrice (Lamont), and Emma; son Malcolm (Caylah); her parents David & Emma Smith; brother Anthony Wilson; granddaughters Symphony, Amaris and Caydence; grandsons Rashaun, Jayden and King and a host of other relatives and friends

She was predeceased by her father and stepmother Charles and Martha Wilson and son Robert Cody.

Janine will be greatly missed by family and friends.
