Joseph Hardin Obituary

Joseph Charles Hardin, age 60, of New Vienna, Ohio, passed away peacefully Monday, December 22. 2025 at his home. He was born September 3, 1965, in Xenia, Ohio, the son of the late Charles and Donna (Edwards) Hardin. Joe was a 1983 graduate of East Clinton High School where he excelled at golf for the Astros and was a lifelong member of the Sabina Church of Christ. He had spent his entire professional career in radio, serving in various positions such as general manager, disk jockey, and predominately in the marketing/ advertising sales area. He was a friend to all that knew him and was loved dearly by his family. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Sharon (Shari) Rolston; children, Mary Ellen (Jake) Viars, Kathryn Hardin and Elizabeth (Mark) Huber; stepchildren, John (Karen) Noland, Nelson Noland and Mason Noland; grandchildren, Wyatt, Everett, Addie and Aaron; siblings, John Hardin and Gayle Hardin; Nieces, Miranda (Aaron) Brooks and Keira/Liam Rolston; great nephews and niece, Emmett, Eli and Emersyn; Father and mother-in-law, John and Donna Rolston; and brother and sister-in-law, John C. (Jodi) Rolston. Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Donna Hardin; maternal grandparents, George and Mable Edwards and paternal grandparents, John C. and Marie Hardin. A celebration of Joe's life will take place Friday, January 2, 2026, at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington. Family will greet friends from 1:00 until 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
