Joseph Jones

Joseph Jones, age 72, of Auburn Hills, Michigan, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Mercy Hospital in Oakland, Michigan.  He was born October 27, 1948 in Cedarville, Ohio the son of the late Joseph and Dorothy M. (Harding) Jones.  Joseph served in the U.S. Armed Forces for two years.  He enjoyed traveling to different countries.  He was a diehard fan of many casinos and he also liked bowling.  He is survived by sisters, Maxine (Lake) Jones of Springfield and Eloise Jefferson of Xenia; brothers, Leonard Jones of Cedarville, Marvin (Laure) Jones of Cedarville, Timothy (Gloria) Jones of Virginia, and Russell Jones of Fairborn; several nieces and nephews; and special friends John of Auburn Hills, Michigan, and Patrick of Canada.  In addition to his parents, Joseph is preceded in death by his sister Carol Jackson; and brothers, Donald Jones and Richard Jones.  Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the Middle Run Baptist Church, 1000 East Church Street, Xenia, Ohio 45385.  Following visitation, there will be food for family and friends at 721 East Church Street.  Graveside services and burial will be held at a later date in Windsor, Canada.  For more information, or to sign our on-line register, please visit www.arehart-brown.com, or see our Facebook page, Brown Funeral home.
