Joseph "Joe" Grace

Joseph “Joe” Grace, age 88, of Middletown, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025, at Atrium Medical Center in Middletown, with his loving wife and children by his side.  He was born August 22, 1936, in Birmingham, Alabama, the son of the late Sam and Jesse (Allen) Grace.  Joe enjoyed playing all type of Lottery games, and working on cars.  He had worked at Randall Textron in Wilmington, and had also worked in environmental control with several different companies.  Joe is survived by his wife, Mary Lee (Davenport) Grace; children, Bradley, Brandon, Byron, Brianna, Bryston, John, Linwood, Raymond, Helen, and Jo-Ann; grandchildren, Brooklynn, Brynlee, Renesemaee, Janine, Deany, Hakeem, Linwood, Jr., Ebony, Al, Chelsea, Ya-Ya, Corey, Jermaine, Brittany, Tosha, Janice, and Layla; sister, Dorothy Harris; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and many friends.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington.  Visitation will be held Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family.  To leave an on-line condolence, or leave a donation to assist the family please visit www.arehart-brown.com, you can also leave condolences on our Facebook page, Brown Funeral Home.
