Joshua Allen Brannon

Joshua Allen Brannon, age 40, of Wilmington, died Saturday, December 25, 2021 at his home.  He was born November 24, 1981 in Wilmington, the son of Stella M. Brannon.  Joshua enjoyed watching football, and was an avid Las Vegas Raiders fan.  He loved being outdoors and enjoyed fishing.   Joshua was a graduate of Laurel Oaks, and was a trained auto-mechanic.  He loved tinkering on anything with an engine.  Joshua is survived by his mother Stella M. Brannon, of Wilmington; brother Brian and his wife Tamie Brannon of Hillsboro; nephews, Triston Brannon of Cincinnati, Jonah Brannon of Hillsboro, and Nehemiah Brannon of Hillsboro; very special aunt, Peggy Haynes, (who was like a mother) of Port William; uncle John Brannon of Reesville; former wife, and good friend, Summer Thompson of Bainbridge; and his dog Zeus.  Joshua is preceded in death by a nephew, Andrew Brannon; and several aunts and uncles.  Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington.  Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family.  To leave an on-line condolence, please visit www.arehart-brown.com, or see our Facebook page, Brown Funeral Home.
