Judith Beers Obituary

Judith Ann “Judy” Beers, age 72, of Wilmington, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.  She was born October 9, 1948 in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Hollie and Mary Frances (Hoble) Smith.  Judy was a huge Ohio State Buckeye fan.  She loved gardening and tending to her flowers.  Judy enjoyed wildlife, loved her squirrels, and watching deer.  Above all, she loved her family, and was extremely proud of her grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  Judy is survived by four sons, Myron Lee Beers of Wilmington, Michael (Renee) Beers of Blanchester, Jimmy (Kimmie) Beers of Sabina, and Johnny (Carla) Beers of New Vienna; nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Helen “Punkie” Waln of Wilmington, and Linda Smith of Wilmington; two brothers, Doug (Gloria) Smith of Bainbridge, and Tom (Teena) Smith of Wilmington; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her former husband, Myron Ezra Beers, Jr.; sister Betty Jean Smith; and brother Luther Leon Smith.  All services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.  Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington, is assisting the family.  To leave an on-line condolence, please visit www.arehart-brown.com or see our Facebook page, Brown Funeral Home.
