Judy Brien

Judy Brien, age 76, of Hillsboro, went to Heaven Wednesday, February 1, 2023 from the Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati.  She was born in Hillsboro, Ohio the daughter of the late David and Dolly (Tolle) Shepherd.  After a lifetime of work, Judy was enjoying retirement.  She loved life and had many passions; family, friends, pets, singing, her plants, flowers, and garden.  And all her family and friends knew of her love for her sunflowers.  Judy was an amazingly talented person and will be dearly missed.  A beautiful lady was lost, but she gained her wings.  Judy is survived by her husband Robert Spiker; her bird Spike; and dog Zippy.  Also surviving are siblings, James (Betty) Shepherd, Virginia McKinny, Chester Shepherd, Michelle Pixley, Joshua Shepherd, and Jessy Shepherd; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by siblings, Emma Faye Ashley, Bonnie Swisshelm, David Shepherd, and Larry Shepherd.  Memorial services will be held 5:00 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Brown Funeral Home,  Wilmington.  Visitation will be held Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral etal home.  To leave an on-line condolence please visit www.arehart-brown.com, or see our Facebook page, Brown Funeral Home.
