Julie Ann Burns

Julie Ann Burns, daughter of the late William and Evelyn Burns, was born September 17, 1970, in Wilmington, Ohio. After a long illness, she passed away September 16, 2025, at Batavia Nursing Home in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Julie was never one to follow the beaten path. She lived by her own rules. Those who knew her would describe her as carefree and fun; smart and persistent; but most importantly, as a good friend. Hanging out with her friends was one of her favorite activities. Her friends were important to her. She was there to enjoy the good times and always there to help someone in need.

Missteps and bad decisions… Julie had her struggles, no doubt. But one’s life is not defined by our worst moments, nor measured by the sum of our imperfections. Julie was loved and will be missed. But there is comfort in knowing her suffering is over, and we move forward with the positive memories she left us.

Julie is survived by daughter Jaebreon Burns and sister Deborah Burns of Wilmington; special friend Joyce Dallas, and a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.

Visitation will 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm Monday, September 22, 2025, at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington. There will be no service.
