Justin Scott "Skip" Shields, Jr.

Our beloved brother, Justin Scott "Skip" Shields, Jr., 75, of Wilmington, passed away Saturday August 24, 2024, at the Wilmington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wilmington, Ohio. Skip was born April 17, 1949, in Jamestown, New York, the son of the late Justin S. and Dorothy C. (Brands) Shields. He was an inviting, intelligent and serving man who lived life his way. Skip was a diehard Ohio State fan that was generally seen volunteering, for many years, at Sugartree Ministries in Wilmington. Skip was loved by his family very much and they appreciate the help and friendship given to him by all the caregivers and his friends at Wilmington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Sugartree Ministries, and Brown Funeral Home. In honoring his wishes, there will be no services. Skip will be privately buried at the convenience of his family.
