Keith Jacoby Obituary

Keith Allen Jacoby, 57, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away on December 14, 2024. Born on January 12, 1967, Keith was a beloved figure in his community, known for his boundless generosity and compassion.

A 1985 graduate of Greenview High School, Keith was dedicated to helping others. He was an avid motorcyclist who participated in numerous poker runs to benefit children's causes, including Kamp Dovetail. His willingness to assist anyone in need was legendary—often described as someone who would give the shirt off his back. Keith also enjoyed woodworking and sharing his creations with those around him. His favorite activity to do was spending time with his family and being "Gramps" to his 21 grandkids.

Keith and his wife, Marsha (Bogan) Jacoby, shared 38 wonderful years together. Their love was a cornerstone of his life, along with his deep affection for his extensive family. He leaves behind a legacy of love and caring with his children: Josh (Laura) Gibson, Amber (Steven) Hicks, Dustin (Samantha) Jacoby, John Jacoby, and Brittany (Cole) Grant. He was a proud grandfather and great-grandfather to many, including Lucy, Oliver, Eli, Raegan, Bexlee, AJ, Sara, Jaylee, Colston, Charlee, Brynlee, Nick, Addie, Rose, Lilly, Alina, Avery, Eliora, Matthew, Liam, and Lucas. He also had many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

Keith was preceded in death by his mother Judy Jack, father Jim Jacoby, father-in-law Dick Bogan, and special parent Lamar Long. Grandparents Ralph Jacoby, Margaret Jacoby, Clara Daulton, and Melvin Daulton.

He is also survived by his sisters Angie (Barry) Marshall, Tracy (Donnie) Jacoby, Billie Jack, and Lesley (Kerry) Johnson.

While there will be no formal service, the family plans to hold a celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to KAMP Dovetail 5350 West New Market Rd., Hillsboro, Ohio 45133 in honor of "Clara's Courage", or donations made to Marsha Jacoby to cover expenses.
