Larry Boyd Harris

Larry Boyd Harris, age 77, of Reesville, went to be with the Lord September 19, 2022, surrounded by family. He was born January 11, 1945, in Clarksville, Ohio the son of the late Boyd and Shirley (Daugherty) Harris. Larry was a veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed more than 50 years in the career of the over-the-road haul trucking industry, seeing every state. He had a love for old cars, camping, and spending time with family and friends. He could light up a room with his laughter and jokes. Larry is survived by his daughter, Alisa (Ron) Darien of New Franklin, Ohio; brother Billy Harris of Blanchester; and fiancé Patty Riggles; grandsons Sam and Jacob; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Harris; sister Shirley Lewis; and brother George Harris. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington. Burial will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
