Lawrence "Eddie" Whaley

Eddie Whaley went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 16, 2020.  This is hard to believe if you had known him earlier in his life.  However, he had made the decision to accept Jesus as his Savior.  He lived with deep sadness over much of his actions, but was thankful for a God who forgives.  He is reunited in Heaven with his loving mother, Shirley Adams, and leaves behind his kid sister, Tine Brown; and nieces and nephews, William, Nathan, Justin, Tricia, Haley, Tyler, and Magnus.  Through Christ he became a man we are proud of, and his tender spirit in one to emulate.  It is because of his influence, his nephews root for the Buckeyes, vote republican, fish, and string tinsel on the Christmas tree correctly.  However, the most important thing he taught his nephews was to be loving sons to their precious mother.  As he requested, no fuss will be made, but his sisters’ and nephews’ hearts will deeply miss him……….and, in his words, “Well that’s alright”.
