Leo Joseph Solsman, age 81 of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at the Atrium Medical Center in Middletown. He was born November 1, 1939 in South Lebanon, Ohio the son of the late Roy and Annabelle (Armbruster) Solsman. Leo was an owner/operator and had been a truck driver for more than 63 years, traveling all over the United States, both long haul coast to coast, and local routes. What brought him the most joy in life was being with his “grandkids”. Leo is survived by children, Lannie (Blain) Foxx of Edgewater, Florida, Lynn (Kevin) Deardorff of Middletown, LuRoy Solsman of Midland, Andrea Solsman of Franklin, and Chris Carson of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Leo is preceded in death by his first wife, Lois Miller; second wife, Carolyn Solsman; son Lee Solsman; and daughter-in-law Debbie Solsman. Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington. Pastor Michael Carpenter will officiate. Burial will follow in the Westboro Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
