Leroy Darrell Arrington

Leroy Darrell Arrington, born February 26, 1965, was tragically taken from this world on December 20, 2025, as a result of an automobile accident. Though his life ended unexpectedly, the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the relationships he built, will live on through all who knew him. Darrell was a devoted husband to Heather Arrington; a loving father to Dominique Smith (Amy) of Columbus, Alexis Smith of Columbus, Amber Doctor of Washington Court House, and Rickie Smith of Wilmington; and a proud grandfather to Brooklyn, Justice, Zaniyla, McKenzie, and Aiden. He is also survived by his sisters Ruby Rose (Tony), Revonne Arrington, and Tracey Arrington; mother-in-law Beverly Payton; sister-in-law Wendi Furguson; niece Kayla Furguson; nephew Michael Furguson; and a host of nieces and nephews. Darrell was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Arrington; his father, Tony Rollings; his grandfather Sylvester Benjamin Arrington; his grandmother Rayma Arrington; his grandmother Priscilla Walker; his nephews Devin Cosby, Sr. and Patrick Rollings; his special cousin Keith Arrington; brother Robert Rollings; brother-in-law Dion Furguson; and several aunts and uncles. Personal Passions: A diehard Cincinnati Bengals fan, Darrell loved attending games and watching the Bengals play with his friends, family, and loved ones. Game days were sacred to him - filled with laughter, relationships, and team pride. Known for his humor and quick wit, Darrell loved telling jokes and bringing laughter into every room. Behind that humor was a sensitive man with a generous heart who loved his family deeply and wanted nothing but the best for them. Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, December 27th, 2025, at Bible Missionary Baptist Church, in Wilmington, Ohio. Reverend Dr. Kurtis Summerville will officiate. Burial will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. at the church. Immediately following committal services, all are invited to Sunset Landing, 3772 SR 73 North, Wilmington, Ohio 45177, for repast, with food and fellowship.
