Leslee Ann Brooks Morris

Leslee Ann Brooks Morris, age 62, of Wilmington, passed away October 21, 2024, at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. She was born July 20, 1962, in Wilmington, the daughter of R. Lee and Lucy (Floyd) Brooks. Leslee was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Wilmington, Graduate of Wilmington High School, and had attended the University of Cincinnati. She had worked with the David Adair Company in Wilmington for many years in sales and Interior Design. Leslee is survived by her husband of 41 years, James E. “Jimmy” Morris, to whom she married April 9, 1983; mother Lucy Brooks of Wilmington; sister Lyn (John) Brooks Manos of Cincinnati; sisters-in-law Mary (Matt) DeSantis of Columbus and Carol (Randy) Meister of Cincinnati; nieces and nephews, Alec Brooks of Cincinnati, Allison (Austin) Brooks Brenner of Ashland, Christopher Manos of Cincinnati, Claire DeSantis of Columbus, Connor DeSantis of Columbus, Caroline DeSantis of Columbus, Will Meister of Cincinnati, and Lola Meister of Cincinnati; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many friends. Leslee is preceded in death by her father, R. Lee Brooks; brother M. Lyle Brooks; father and mother-in-law James and Barbara Morris; and brother-in-law Jeff Morris. Memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2025, at the Faith Lutheran Church, Wilmington. Leslee’s family asks that memorial donations in her memory be made to the Food Pantry at the Wilmington Lutheran Church, 421 E. Vine Street, Wilmington, Ohio 45177. Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington, is assisting the family.
