Lisa Lynn Pauley, age 57, of Wilmington, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at her home. She was born June 26, 1963 in Wilmington the daughter of Layman Clark and Edith (Keeton) Thompson. Lisa was a member of the Wilmington Church of God and a lifelong resident of Clinton County. She had been a Managing Supervisor with Community Options, Inc. Lisa enjoyed tending to her flowers, cooking, camping, fishing, and just spending time with her family, whom she adored. She loved to watch crime shows, ghost stories, and scary movies, she loved to dance, and to keep up with the times on social media, she was very aware and involved with many local activities. Above all, she loved her family unconditionally. Lisa is survived by her husband, Rick Pauley, to whom she married August 8, 2014 in Wilmington; children, Jason (Melissa) Clark of Sardinia, Jeromy Clark of Wilmington, Travis (Heidi) Clark of New Vienna, Sarah (Brandon Gibson) Clark of Wilmington, Joshua Pauley of Flandreau, South Dakota, and Matthew Pauley of Flandreau, South Dakota; 14 grandchildren, sisters, Kim (Matt) Hanlon Independence, Kentucky, Melissa (Sean) Rugar of New Vienna, and Erin Brewer of Sabina; brother-in-law Bobby (Teri) Pauley of Sabina; sister-in-law Becky (Tim) McGraw of Sabina; several nieces and nephews, and many friends. Lisa is preceded in death by her father, Layman Clark; mother Edith (Keeton) Thompson; and brother Layman Dwayne Clark. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington. Rev. Philip Carpenter will officiate. Burial will follow in Sugar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
