Lisa Marie (Williams) Whitaker

Lisa Marie Whitaker, age 56, of Wilmington, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at the Laurel’s of Blanchester.  She was born October 15, 1964 in Elkin City, Maryland, the daughter of the late Billy Earl and Gladys (Sullivan) Williams.  Lisa loved flowers, she enjoyed playing cards, and the lottery.    Lisa is survived by her husband, James Michael “Mike” Whitaker; sons Jesse James Whitaker of Tennessee and Brandon Michael (Rosemary) Whitaker of Wilmington; and several grandchildren.   In addition to her parents, Lisa is preceded in death by her brother, Billy Earl Williams, Jr.  According to her wishes, cremation has taken place.  A memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m. Monday, October 4, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.  A special “Thank You” is being sent out to Sugartree Ministries, the Clinton County Homeless Shelter, and Community Care Hospice.  To leave an on-line condolence please visit www.arehart-brown.com, or our Facebook page, Brown Funeral Home.
