Loyce Rae (Hardwick) Jordan

Loyce Rae (Hardwick) Jordan, age 82, of Wilmington, passed away August 12, 2021 at Continental Manor in Blanchester.  She was born February 20, 1939 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of the late John Harvey and Lois (Florence) Hardwick.  Loyce was a very social person and had many friends in the Wilmington Community.  She received her degree in Early Childhood Education from Southern State and had taught Pre-School; she had also previously worked at the Manhattan Lounge.  Loyce is survived by two daughters, Cindy (Ted) Wiesman of Cincinnati and Elane (Gerald) Courtright of Kearneysville, West Virginia; three grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sisters Janice and Faye; brother Ronnie; and many cousins and friends.  In addition to her parents, Loyce is preceded in death by two sons, John Mark Jordan and Jimmy Jordan.  Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington.  Randy Fannin will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Martinsville I.O.O.F.
