Marion E. (Schmalz) Lukacs

Marion E. Lukacs, age 75, of Wilmington, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Copper Knoll Health and Rehabilitation Center in Washington C.H., Ohio.  She was born April 6, 1950, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of the late Oliver and Ethelda Schmalz.  Marion enjoyed gardening, she loved animals, liked to take nature walks, and watched crime television shows.   Marion is survived by her husband Steven Lukacs; son Jesse (Christine) Shaw; granddaughters Summer Shaw and Skye Shaw; son Bobby Lindemann; sister Kathryn Emmons; and Brother Michael Schmalz.  In addition to her parents, Marion is preceded in death by one brother, Fredrick Schmalz.  According to her wishes, cremation will take place.  Her remains will be placed in Arlington Memorial Gardens in Cincinnati where a memorial will take place at a later date.  Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington, is assisting the family.
