Mark Steven Smith

Mark Steven Smith, age 59, of Lynchburg, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022 at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.  He was born December 1, 1962 in Wilmington, Ohio the son of the late Clyde L. and Katherine Hubbel.  Mark was a man that could build anything, he enjoyed fishing and was an avid Bengals fan, but most of all, he adored his grandchildren.  Mark is survived by his long-time partner, Bessie Moore of Lynchburg; sons, Jarrett (Lindsey) Smith of Sugar Grove, Ohio, Zach Smith of Washington State, and Nathan Smith of Cuba, Ohio; grandchildren, Kayleigh, Jada, Neveah, Joseph, Lily, and Rowan; great granddaughter, Aubree; sisters, Elizabeth Smith of Wilmington, Lorrie Smith of Wilmington, and Paige Smith of Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews including a close nephew, Ryan Roussel.  In addition to his parents, Mark is preceded in death by one son, Josh Smith; niece Katlin Bailey; and nephew Keith Bailey.  Memorial services will be held 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  To leave an on-line condolence, please visit www.arehart-brown.com, or see our Facebook page, Brown Funeral Home.
