Martha Ann "Marty" (Satterfield) Knapp

Martha Ann "Marty" (Satterfield) Knapp, age 72, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 20, 2023. Marty was born June 11, 1951 in Jeffersonville, Ohio the daughter of the late Forrest Satterfield and Irene (Lambert) Dilley. Her life and her departure from this Earth revolved around the ones she loved. She was a loving wife, mama and grannie. Marty leaves behind her loving husband, Arthur "Dean" Knapp, Sr.; children, Shanel (Phil) Wilson of Wilmington, Arthur Dean Knapp, Jr. of Cincinnati and Jason (Cynthia) Knapp of Miamisburg; grandchildren, Annie (Nick) Stacy of Wilmington, Spencer Wilson of Boston, MA, Ellie Wilson of Wilmington, Alanna Knapp of Mason, and Ethan, Alex, and Ollie Knapp, all of Miamisburg; great-granddaughter, Vivienne Stacy; sister, Ruthie Grubb; and brother, Ralph Satterfield. Along with her parents, Marty is preceded in death by her brothers, Carl and Roy Dale Satterfield. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday September 23, 2023 at Brown Funeral Home, 237 W. Main St , Wilmington. Friends may visit the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow in Sugar Grove Cemetery in Wilmington.
