Mary Ellen "Mamma Mary" (Leming) Wilson

Mary Ellen "Mama Mary" Wilson (Leming), age 73, of Blanchester, passed away June 15, 2023, at her home. She was born September 21, 1949, in Mariemont, Ohio the daughter of Myrl Richard and Mary E. (Snell) Leming. Mary was a "Mother Trucker", having spent 40 plus years driving trucks and was affectionately known as "Squeaky" on the CB radio. Mary was a very hard worker and moved her family like a band of gypsies, as she didn't like to stay in one place for very long. She loved her family very much and will be missed by them dearly. Mary leaves behind four children; Monica (Don) Hair of Blanchester, Amy (Wayne Stevenson) Funke of Fayetteville, Tara (Brian) Rensing of Fairfield and Jenny (Mike) Heeg of Blanchester; grandchildren, Zakk (Payton) McCarty and Donavan Meddock; many friends throughout the years which include Bill and Tammy Needham and special friend, Jon. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Craig Griggs; son, Bobby Funke; as well as her parents, Myrl and Mary Leming. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday June 24, 2023, at the home of her dear friends, Bill and Tammy Needham, 1382 Frazier Road, Midland Ohio.
