Maureen Patricia "Pat" McGinnis

Maureen Patricia “Pat” McGinnis, age 84, of Wilmington, went to be with Jesus, her Savior on December 28, 2023. She is survived by her husband Dale Leroy McGinnis of 65 years.

Pat was born on April 11, 1939 in Flint, MI, daughter of Robert James Eakin and Sybil Alphea (Skipper) Eakin.  She and Dale met while attending Austin Avenue Baptist Church, Flint, MI.  They were married on November 29, 1958.  They later joined South Baptist Church, where Pat was the custodian for 25 years.  After retiring, Dale and Pat enjoyed spending winters in Florida.   They are current members of North Baptist Church, Flint, MI.

In addition to her husband, Pat is survived by her four children, Dale McGinnis II and his son Max McGinnis of Garrett, IN, Kelly Trivett (Phil) and their children, William Trivett (Erin) and their son Benjamin, David Trivett and Jonathan Trivett all of Midland, OH,  Colleen Murray (Ken) and their children, Colin Murray and Landin Murray of Boone, NC, and Eric McGinnis (Linda) of Naples, FL and their children, Connor McGinnis of New Orleans, LA and Ryan McGinnis of Columbia, MS, a sister, Linda Haskins (Deryl) of Flint, MI, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Wilmington, OH.  with service to follow at 12 p.m.   Burial will follow at 2 p.m in the Dayton Ohio National V.A.
