Melissa Lynn Norman

Melissa Lynn Norman, age 56, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away June 25, 2024, in Wilmington after battling illness the last several years. She was born February 20, 1968, in Clinton County the daughter of the late Robert Dunford and Argolia Norman. Melissa was a very private person that loved being fashionable and joking around. Among her favorite things were the color blue and cake. Melissa always enjoyed being around her family and friends and she especially loved her daughter very much. Melissa leaves behind her daughter, Anessa Lovett and her siblings, Marina and Christian, all of Dayton; aunt, Priscilla Norman of Wilmington; sister, Angie McClendon of Dayton; very close friends, Beverly Heath and Renee Norman of Dayton; and a host of cousins and good friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Dunford and Argolia Norman; grandparents, Virgil and Barbara Norman; and several aunts and uncles. Being a very private person, the family felt having no services would be what Melissa would have wanted.
