Michael D. Melvin

Michael D. Melvin, 38, formerly of Dayton and Wilmington, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 7, 2019.  Michael was born on March 24, 1981.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents (Melvin).  He leaves behind a son, Aiveon Melvin of Wilmington; a daughter, Mya Melvin of Wilmington; his mother, Janette Melvin, and father of Dayton; foster parents, Lisa and Marvin Frisco III of Wilmington; brothers, Aaron "Byron" Melvin Seese and Dominic Melvin; and other brothers and sisters, aunties, uncles, nieces and cousins.  Visitation is at noon with funeral service at 1 p.m. Friday, May 17 at Bible Missionary Baptist Church, 243 Grant St., Wilmington.  The Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington, is serving the family.  For more information, or to sign our on-line register, please visit www.arehart-brown.com, or see our Facebook page, Brown Funeral Home
