Michael David Minderman

Michael Minderman, age 59, of Wilmington, passed away July 20, 2026, at his home.  He was born October 11, 1966, in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of John Kenneth “Ken” and Carol Ann (Wittrock) Minderman.  Michael lived an eclectic and full life.  He loved fishing, gemstone collecting, and was an avid follower of the Cincinnati Bengals.  He had worked in many different fields, but his greatest passion was always cooking.  He developed his skills at Scarlet Oaks, and learned so much from his mother.  Throughout his career, he worked and managed many restaurants, and eventually fulfilled his dream of owning The Diner in New Vienna.  Michael is survived by his son Cody Osborn; father Ken Minderman; brother Steven (Andrea) Minderman; sister Tina (Luc) Minderman Nguyen, brother John (Sharayah) Minderman, brother Anthony (Gina) Minderman; aunts Sue Wittrock and Jean Wittrock; and many friends he had made through his life.  Michael is preceded in death by his wife Julia; mother Carol; sister Lisa Minderman; and grandparents Norbert and Marcella Wittrock, and Harry and Ruth Minderman.  A Celebration of Michael’s Life will be held 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the New Vienna Community Center, 12 W.
