Michael Lee Newbry

Michael “Mike” Lee Newbry, age 62, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at Hospice of Huntington in Huntington, West Virginia. He was born January 17, 1963 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Charlotte I Newbry (Bost) and Gary L. Newbry, who survives. Mike enjoyed going to the casino and spending time with his grandkids. He was a wonderful father, brother, cousin, and grandfather, that will be dearly missed by his daughters. Mike is survived by his wife Sherry Lynn Newbry of West Virginia; three daughters, Amber (Larry) Newbry of Wilmington, Ashley Wilt of Wilmington and Jennifer (Nick) Newbry of Wilmington; brothers, Mark Newbry of Wilmington, and Jeff (Patty) Newbry; grandchildren, Addy and Zander, Chloe and Brayden, and Dom. Mike is preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte Newbry. Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 10, 2025, at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington. Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place privately at the convenience of the family.
