Mildred Kathleen "Middy" (Jones) Minnish

Mildred Kathleen “Middy” Minnish, age 69, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 4, 2021 at her home.  She was born August 6, 1951 in Waynesville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Isaac Leroy and Flossie Elaine (Jordan) Jones.  Middy loved life; she was always the life of the party.  She could meet someone and become instant friends, like Connie, Lindsey, and many more.  She enjoyed going to estates and garage sales with her friend Judy Evans and her niece Sharon Jones.  She was always looking for the best deal whether it was for her or someone that needed something.  Middy was always on the go, doing everything from cleaning to shopping, or just out having lunch with so many friends.    She was a loving wife, taking care of her number one fan, her husband Bob.  She was also a great mother, not only to her own children, but a second mom to so many, like Toni, Karla, Trey, Hunter, and Aubrey.  May you rest in peace and find comfort in the arms of God.  We love and will miss you every day.  Middy is survived by her loving husband, Robert E. Minnish, Sr of Wilmington; daughter Mary K. Minnish and her husband Steve Green of Wilmington, and their children, Hunter Minnish and Hunter Green; son Michael Nevergall and his wife Emily, and their children, Austin Griffie, Isaac, Wayland, Edmund, and Taylor; stepdaughter Rochelle Kay and her husband Danny, and their children Michelle and Erica; stepson Robert E. Minnish, Jr. and his wife Chaya, and their children, Amanda and Rob; stepson-in-law Rick Shumard, and children Jason, Sean, and Rickie, along with several great grandchildren; and many friends.  In addition to her parents, Middy is preceded in death by one step-daughter Stephanie Shumard; sister Eleanor Webb; and brothers, Carl Jones, Jack Jones, and George Jones.  A Celebration of Middy’s Life will be held Saturday August 7, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.  A luncheon will be held following services at Solid Craft Boats, 185 Park Drive, Wilmington, Ohio 45177.  To leave an on-line condolence, please visit www.arehart-brown.com, or see our Facebook page, Brown Funeral Home.
