Nolan Wayne Wright, Sr.

Nolan Wayne Wright Sr., age 92, of Cuba, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2024, at his home.  He was born June 23, 1932, in Pikeville, Kentucky, the son of the late James Wayne and Mary Emma (Caudell) Wright.  Nolan and his wife Barbara loved camping, he enjoyed watching old westerns on T.V., and tending to his yard.  Nolan enjoyed music, with a fondness for old country and blue grass.  He had retired after many years as a truck driver, driving local and long-haul for local and national companies.  More than anything, he loved his family, especially his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.  Nolan is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Ellen (Lunsford) Wright; children, Nolan (Joyce) Wright Jr. of Martinsville, Kenny (Kathy) Wright of Blanchester, Teri Wright of Williamsburg, Pam Adams of Wilmington, and James (Yvonne) Wright of Wilmington; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington.  Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will take place in New Antioch Cemetery privately at the convenience of the family.  To leave an on-line condolence, please visit www.arehart-brown.com, or see our Facebook page, Brown Funeral Home.
