Patricia Ann "Pat" (Smoot) Willis

Patricia Ann “Pat” Willis, age 74, of Xenia, passed away Friday, February 26, 2021 at the Green Memorial Hospital in Xenia.  She was born February 24, 1947 in Williamsburg, Kentucky the daughter of the late Eugene and Jessie (Smith) Smoot.  Pat had worked at Green Memorial Hospital as a Dietary Assistant.  Pat was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, she dearly loved her family.  She is survived by two daughters, Tina Willis of Xenia and Shannon (Shawn) Arrington of Wilmington; seven grandchildren, Alijia Whitner, JayVon Talley, James Whitner, Jr., Anesha Johnson, Tiarra Black, Kalesha Whitner, and DeAngelo Samuels; several great-grandchildren; sister Rev. Donzella (Rev. Dr. Ronald) Stewart of Clayton, Ohio; brother James Smoot of Xenia; sisters-in-law, Jeanne Moody of Dayton, Lorraine (Sue) Nelson of Xenia, Vicki Willis of Xenia, and Judy Willis of Columbus; brother-in-law Ethelbert “Buddy” Cox, Jr. of Dayton; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends.  In addition to her parents, Pat is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth “Jake” Willis, Jr.; sisters, Brenda Cox and Janet Anderson; brother Eugene Smoot, Jr.; and several brothers and sisters-in-law.  Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2021 at the New Life Christian Church, 436 E. Main Street, Xenia, Ohio.  Rev.
