Patricia Ann "Patty" (Phillips) Lambcke

Patricia (Patty) Ann Lambcke of Wilmington has passed away this January 9th, 2025, at age 75.

Patricia was born on October 19th, 1949, to Reuben and Ruby (Greene) Phillips in Monterey, Tennessee.

Patricia is survived by; a husband of 57 years, the love of her life, Walter J. Lambcke; her three children, John Lambcke (Mishka Lambcke), Ted Moore (Kristie Moore), and Shelley Arnold (Christopher Arnold); 4 granddaughters, Rachel Pereira (Lucas Pereira), Bailey Arnold (Aidan Carr-Henderson), Nelinka Lambcke and Elishka Lambcke; three great granddaughters, Matilda Jay Pereira; Blair Carr-Henderson, and Berkley Carr-Henderson; and her dear friend Diane Neanover. She is preceded in death by; her parents, Reuben and Ruby Phillips; her sister, Debbie Lynn Hayslip; multiple brother and sister in-laws; her dear friend, Terry Walraven; and her beloved pup, Maggie.

Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. After graduating from Wilmington High School and being Wed in 1967, Patricia gave birth to her eldest child, John, followed by the birth of her daughter, Shelley. During the years she raised them, Patricia worked at Wilmington City Schools as a teacher’s aide prior to transitioning into the role of a secretary. It was during this time that she met, and adopted her youngest son, Ted. One of many instances in a lifetime of kindness.

There was nothing that Patricia enjoyed more than time with her family. She delighted in telling the world of her granddaughters and great granddaughters. She sought exploration in traveling so long as her husband was by her side. She lived a life of adventure and compassion through which she touched so many hearts. Her rivalry will be greatly missed in poker games with friends and family. She is loved by many, to the moon and back.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington.  Visitation will be held Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Burial will take place privately with family only in Centerville Cemetery in Lee’s Creek.
