Patricia (Shanks) Steinbarger

Patricia Steinbarger, age 82, of Wilmington, died Sunday, September 30, 2018 at her home with her family by her side. She was born March 17, 1936 in Peebles, Ohio the daughter of Mary Evadean Shanks. Pat found enjoyment in doing Crossword Puzzles and Cross Stitching; she also enjoyed gambling on occasion. She was very generous to many charities and causes, and loved her sons very much. She is survived by her husband Cliff Steinbarger, to whom she married February 10, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio; she is also survived by two sons, Mark (Jamie) Steinbarger and Steven Steinbarger; grandchildren, Alanna (Kenneth) Cornelius, Erica Cardiff, and Sarah (Greg) Keller; several great grandchildren; and sister Vicki (Don) North. She is preceded in death by her mother Mary Evadean Shanks; sisters, Beverly Padgett, Pam Patterson, and Delores Simpson; and brothers, Paul Shanks, and Jimmy Shanks. Memorial services will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Brown Funeral Home Wilmington. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at Noon at the funeral home.
