Pauline Katherine Green, age 94, of New Vienna passed away peacefully Saturday, July 24, 2021 at her home with her family by her side. She was born December 8, 1926 in Leesburg, Ohio, the daughter of the late Earl A. and Helen Louise (Turner) Green. Pauline had retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base after many years of service as a clerk and office administrator. She loved reading her Bible and sewing. Pauline was a member of the Hillsboro Church of God, and had been a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. She had served as Youth Leader at the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Hillsboro for several years. She lived by the scripture, “I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me”. Pauline was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister; she loved her family dearly. She is survived by four children, Norman Lane of Wilmington, Sandra (Bill) Burns of New Vienna, Damon Green of Washington C.H., and Charles (Paige) Green of Florida; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother Richard William Green of Wilmington; very special friend, Cheryl Simpson; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and many friends. In addition to her parents, Pauline is preceded in death by one sister, Cora Hudson; and one brother, Earl Green, Jr. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at the Hillsboro Church of God, 5760 US 62 South, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133. Pastor John Coyle will officiate. Burial will follow in the Gist Settlement Cemetery, New Vienna. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the church.
