Peggy Alene Twine

Peggy Alene Twine, age 77, of Wilmington, passed away Sunday August 17, 2025. She was born January 12, 1948, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of the late Harold and Helen (Jones) Carey and is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, George Twine.
There wasn't a person that Peggy didn't know or like, she had a heart of gold. All of her children's friends called her mom. Peggy was loved by so many people and will be greatly missed by all.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three children, Nanette Twine and Tina of New Vienna, Darrell and his wife Kim Twine of Wilmington, and Cary Twine of Wilmington; her three grandchildren, Devin, Nathan, and Caryn Twine; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Peggy is proceeded in death by a brother, James "Jim" Carey and a sister, Neva Storer.
