Phillip Allen Damron

Phillip Allen Damron, 67 years of age, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away at home on June 1st, 2023, from ongoing health complications. Phil was born on September 29th, 1955. He was known to be fiery in his youth, which is something that only slightly mellowed in his older age. He was a professional trucker for a great deal of time. Always joking and sarcastic, but very frequently thinking of others instead of himself. He very much enjoyed activities such as fishing, grilling, as well as just being outside and enjoying the fresh air. Phillip also greatly enjoyed shooting pool, he was rather skilled at it as well. He very much lived for his pets and loved them dearly. Phil is preceded in death by his mother, Grace Elizabeth; his father, Leslie Eugene; his sister Barbara Storer; his grandson, Robert Daniel Harrison; and his best friend Timothy Haines. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; his children, Sarah Coleman (Josh), and Monya Michelle Roberts (Erik); his grandchildren, Kami Rugar (Chris), Racheal McGuire (Liz), Jeff Johnson (Katie), and Amanda Moreton; his great-grandchildren, Hailee Nichole Harrison, Robert Dylan Harrison, Zephyr Rugar, and Ariston Rugar. He is also survived by his sisters, Louise Francis, and Mary Lou Shotts (Danny); his brothers Donald Lee (Faye), and Larry Eugene (Margaret). As well as many nieces and nephews, his loving pets, and many other loving extended family members. Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington, is assisting the family.
