Randy Eugene "Mick" Clevenger

Randy Eugene "Mick" Clevenger of Wilmington passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023 at his home. He was 67. 
Randy was born on November 19, 1955 in Wilmington. A lover of all animals, Randy trained thoroughbred race horses for 20 years, before adventuring into the flooring business, and eventually launching his own company - Clevenger Hardwood Flooring. A fan of NASCAR and the Bengals, he enjoyed late nights with friends playing cards, telling unbelievable stories, fishing, playing practical jokes, and spending time with his wife and three children. 
He is survived by his wife, Polly, and children Nekea, Christopher and Shannon, and dog Bonnie; children at heart Becca Brewer and Paul Gaines; grandchildren Bella, Sophie and Eliza; father Gene Clevenger; siblings Pam (Danny) Pogue, Lenny Clevenger, Jerry Clevenger, Max Clevenger, and Michelle Taylor; and many nieces and nephews. 
Randy is preceded in death by his mother, Ruth (John) Snyder, Sandra Clevenger, and brother Mikey Clevenger.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Brown Funeral Home in Wilmington. A private burial will follow. 
Per his request, individuals wishing to attend the calling hours are strongly encouraged to wear something comfortable. “No suits”.
