Rhea Jean Jenkins-Arrington

Rhea Jean Jenkins-Arrington, age 80, of Xenia, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Xenia Health and Rehabilitation. She was born June 3, 1946, in Xenia, the daughter of the late Wiliam and Mittie (Isaacs) Jenkins. Rhea loved spending time with her family, and she always had a meal on the stove. She loved fishing, music, and sports, especially the Cincinnati Bengals and Ohio State Buckeyes. Sunday dinners were at her house, and she knew how to have a good time. All of her family will miss her, now and forever. Rhea is survived by children, Kenneth (Amber) Arrington, Kent Jenkins, Keena (James) Arrington, and Kenese (Doris) Jenkins, all of Xenia; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Victoria Porter; and many friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Arrington, Sr.; son Kevin Leroy Jenkins; grandchildren, Kenya Ray Arrington, and Kentrell Jenkins; great grandchild Kevin Jenkins, Jr.; and siblings, Eddie Isaacs, Cora Lee Watson, William Jenkins Jr.; Willa B “Snooky” Porter, Ella Mae Jenkins, Lonnie Jenkins, Walter Jenkins, Tazzell Jenkins. and Melvin Jenkins. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 13, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at the Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1120 S. Detroit Street, Xenia, Ohio 45385. Burial will follow in the Cherry Grove Cemetery, Xenia. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. at the church.
