Richard William Green, Jr.

Richard William Green, Jr., age 65, of Wilmington, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020 at his home.  Richard was born September 27, 1955 in Wilmington the son of Richard and Vivian (Peyton) Green, Sr.  He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, serving for 14 years.  His hobbies included anything involved with the military.  He enjoyed model building and target shooting.  He had a passion for guns and military aircraft.  More than anything, he loved his family, his wife Pam (deceased) and his daughter Trishaun.  In recent times, he passed time spending time and talking with his father.  Richard is survived by his daughter, Trishaun Cooper of Citrus Heights, California; father Richard Green, Sr. of Wilmington; sisters, Terri (Marque) Jones of Wilmington, Janet (Mark) Green of Newport, Kentucky, and Karin (Tim) Harris of Grand Rapids, Michigan; brother David Green of Wilmington; cousins, Phylis Greene, Juanita (Terry) Watson, Robert (Charlene) Hudson, Donnie Peyton, and Kim Trevino; aunts Evelyn Burns and Pauline Green; as well as several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces.  Richard is preceded in death by his mother Vivian Green, wife Pam Green, and several cherished aunts and uncles.  Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all services and military honors will be held privately at he convenience of the family.  To leave an on-line condolence for the family, please visit www.arehart-brown.com, or see our Facebook page, Brown Funeral Home.
