Ricky Dean Sutherland

Ricky Dean Sutherland, age 69, of Wilmington, formerly of Beavercreek, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2026, at his home with family by his side.  He was born September 15, 1956, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Samuel C. and Jean O. (Gilbert) Sutherland.  Ricky was a self-employed Master Plumber who enjoyed fishing and auto racing in his spare time.  Ricky is survived by his mother Jean O. Nelson of Wilmington; children, Ricky D. Sutherland, Jr., Peggy Sue Sutherland, and Joseph Allen Sutherland; grandchildren, Ricky D. Sutherland, III, Kristin Marie Sutherland, Jordan Sutherland, and Jayden Sutherland; great grandchildren, Rikan Jones, LaVeah Sutherland, Nakoa Sutherland, Mahliah Sutherland, Kayah Kimbrough, Zyon Brown, and Nymeria Yates; and sister and brother-in-law Lynda and Tom Ryan.  Ricky is preceded in death by his father Samuel C.
