Robert Allen "Bob" Cochran

Robert Allen “Bob” Cochran, age 86, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 15, 2022 at his home with his family by his side.    Bob was born March 15, 1936 in Madeira, Ohio the son of the late Chris and Lenora (Davis) Cochran. He started working for Chaney Tire in 1965, and retired after 34 years of service.  He loved collecting old toys, especially old toy cars.  He also enjoyed shooting pool with his friends at the senior citizens center.  Bob is survived by his wife Barbara (McCoy) Cochran, to whom he married November 23, 1968 in Blanchester; son Robert Wayne Cochran; step-daughters Vickie (Chris) Thacker and Ginger Hart; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; brother Richard Cochran; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.  In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Edward Cochran; and brothers, Charles, Jim, Ronald, and Tom.  Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington.  Burial will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington.  Visitation will be held Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. At the funeral home.  To leave on-line condolences, please visit www.arehart-brown.com, or see our Facebook page, Brown Funeral Home.
