Ronald A. Jennings

Ronald A. Jennings, age 67, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at his home in Wilmington, surrounded by his family.

He was born in Charleston, West Virginia to Walter and Washeeola Jennings on June 17, 1957.

A devoted husband, father, brother, and friend, Ronald lived a life full of love, wisdom, and quiet strength.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents and his grandson, Deion Howell.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife: Dereasa D. Jennings.

His children: Ronald Hale (Zanadu), Ronte Hale, Lamar Hale, Jason Arrington, Tyechia Arrington and Alexis Bell.

His siblings: Joseph Robert (Trudy), Walter Jennings (Helen), Linda Jennings, Deborah Jennings, Rita Sullins (Tommy), Cynthia Jennings, and Lisa Jennings-Jones (Michael).

Special friends, who stood by him through the years: Shawn Arrington Sr., Heather Arrington, and Leslie Early.

Ronald leaves behind a large and loving family of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

Per his wishes, no services will be held. His legacy of kindness, humor, and strength will live on through all who Loved him.
