Sandra Drake Obituary

Sandra Jean Drake, age 68, of Wilmington, died Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Clinton Memorial Hospital. She was born June 19, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Hugh C. and Marjorie M. Hamilton Lake. She enjoyed gardening, watching hummingbirds in her backyard, thrift store shopping, and upcycling furniture. But more than anything else, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, David J. Drake, to whom she married September 19, 1970 in Harveysburg, Ohio; children, Scott (Nicky) Drake of Wilmington and Holly (Shane) Louderback of Wilmington; grandchildren, Gabrielle Drake, Madison Drake, and Ebon Louderback; brothers, Hugh C. Lake and Daniel Lake; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded by her parents, Hugh C. and Marjorie M. Lake; and sister Linda Rooks. All services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington, is assisting the family.
