Shane M. Garrison

Shane M. Garrison, age 31, of Wilmington, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, October 31, 2020 in Wilmington.  He was born June 28, 1989 in Wilmington the son of Cindy Weiss and Michael Garrison.  Shane was a graduate of Clinton Massie High School where he was a member of the wrestling team.   He was an extremely hard worker who loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting.  Shane loved his family and was a great son, brother, and uncle.  He was there for his family, only a call away.  He will be missed by all.  Shane is survived by his mother Cindy of Dayton; father Mike of Wilmington; girlfriend Morgan Grismer and her children, who were like his own, Charlie and Blaine; siblings, Kevin (Emily) Weiss of Wilmington, Colt (Randi) Curry of Jamestown, and Cheyenne Curry of Wilmington; two nieces and two nephews; grandmother Betty Weiss of Wilmington; step-father Brett Curry of Wilmington; step grandparents, Harold and Libby Curry of Wilmington; best friend Spencer Running; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He is preceded in death by grandparents James L and Joanna Garrison; and grandfather Robert “Bob” Weiss.  Funeral services will be held 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington.  Visitation will be held Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Burial will take place in Miller Cemetery at the convenience of the family.  For more information, or to leave an on-line condolence, please visit www.arehart-brown.com or see our Facebook page, Brown Funeral Home.
