Sharon Lynn (Peters) Hollon

Sharon Lynn "Granny" Hollon (Peters), age 62, of Wilmington, passed away January 25, 2025. She was born May 26, 1962 in Lebanon, Ohio, the daughter of the late Darryl and Wanda (Bishop) Peters. Sharon was a loyal, lovable person that was the life of the party. She was very proud of her service to our Country in the United States Army and although her life was somewhat rough, she persevered. She never judged people and would do anything for anybody. Sharon gave great advice but was inclined to not take any. She loved being a "Granny" more than anything in the world. Left to cherish her memory are her children, David Messer of Blanchester, Tana Hayslip of Wilmington, Lisa (Adam) Taylor of Wilmington, and adopted son, Jeremy Wilson of Blanchester; grandchildren, Zoey, Trustin, Bravin, Myles, Kylie, Alexis, Mia, Kaylynn, Bristol, Brielle, Addyson, Daxton, Adalen and Adam; siblings, Wendell Peters of Florida, Karen (Ted) Brown of Tennessee, Steven Peters of Florida, and Linda Lynch of Florida; special cousin, Lisa (Tom) Taylor of Blanchester; her Angel on earth, Sandy McKee (Phillip Burton); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by her siblings, Ray Peters, Joyce Swarts, Cindy Peters and Scottie Peters. Services will be held 6:00 p.m. Tuesday February 4, 2025 at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington. Military honors will be accorded by the Wilmington American Legion Post #49 Honor Guard at 4:00 p.m. and segway into visitation until the start of services at 6:00 p.m. for those desiring to leave a donation or a condolence please visit www.arehart-brown.com.
