Shirley Jean (Shelton) Huston

Shirley Jean Huston, age 83, of Martinsville, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at the Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington.  She was born May 30, 1938, Wilmington the daughter of Reba Shelton.  Shirley was a fantastic cook and loved family gatherings.  She enjoyed Crossword and Word Search Puzzles.  Shirley is survived by four children, Jeannie Ann (Estel) Stone of New Antioch, Michael James (Fern) Huston of Sabina, Donna Kay (Mark) Pariseau of Wilmington, and Russell Huston of Martinsville; grandchildren, Jackie, Shannon, Russell, Tonya, Jason, Robert, Shane, Amanda, Estel Lee, Yolanda, Christine, Jason, and Donnie; several great grandchildren; brothers, Richard Shelton of Wilmington, and Stanley Shelton of Texas; and many friends.  In addition to her mother, Shirley is preceded in death by one daughter, Debbie St. John; sister Dorothy Coonrod; brothers, Don, Leonard, and Raymond Shelton; and grandchildren, Michele Pariseau, Thomas James Huston, and Jeffrey St. John.  Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington, Burial will follow in the Clinton Memory Gardens.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  To leave an on-line condolence, please visit www.arehart-brown.com or see our Facebook page, Brown Funeral Home
