Sue Ann (Taylor) Campbell, age 68, of Wilmington, passed away May 27, 2023 at The Laurels of Hillsboro. She was born December 25, 1954 in Wilmington the daughter of the late Russell and Lucy Wilda (Mahaffey) Taylor and spent several years as a receptionist at OHC (Oncology/Hematology Care) in Wilmington. Sue loved anything trivia related and enjoyed watching Jeopardy nightly. She loved making people happy and she especially loved taking care of and spending time with her family, while always enjoying all of their various interests. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Ralph (Danielle Wilson) Hudson of Franklin, Rusti (Muscle) Ryan of Greenfield, Dave Campbell of Wilmington, Teresa (Freddy Cup) Pagett of Wilmington and Jimmy (Liz) Campbell of Luna Pier, Michigan; special nephew, Chris (Jessica) Flint of Port William; grandchildren, Matt, Liza, Hannah, Gary, Alexis, Rikky, Clark, Kapri, David, Kaycie, Shawn and RJ; 20 great-grandchildren; siblings, Mike Taylor, Jim (Lisa) Taylor, and Kenny (lifelong friend/sister-in-law Judy) Taylor; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Russell and Lucy Wilda Taylor; in-laws, James and Florence Campbell; daughter, Corrina Campbell; son, Richard Campbell Jr.; grandson, Kyle Pagett; daughter-in-law, Paula Hudson; and five great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday June 10, 2023, at Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church, 160 N. South Street, Wilmington. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Following services friends are invited to join in a carry-in luncheon at the church.
